Up to 4 people with 3 bags fit in a Toyota Camry. Groups of 5 or 6 take a Hyundai Staria or a GMC Yukon XL. Seven to 11 people travel together in a Toyota HiAce, up to 16 in a Toyota Coaster, and larger groups in a 45-seat bus. Count your bags as carefully as your people, because luggage decides the car more often than seats do.
This guide gives the passenger and bag numbers for every vehicle we run, so you can pick the right one before you message us. All our rides are private: the car is only for your family or group.
Quick answer: which vehicle for your group size
| Your group | Vehicle | Passengers | Bags |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 4 people, up to 3 bags | Toyota Camry | 4 | 3 |
| Up to 4 people with more than 3 bags | Hyundai Staria | 6 | 8 to 10 |
| 5 or 6 people | Hyundai Staria or GMC Yukon XL | 6 | 8 to 10 (Staria), 6 to 8 (GMC) |
| 7 to 11 people | Toyota HiAce | 11 | 14 to 16 |
| 12 to 16 people | Toyota Coaster | 16 | 20 to 25 |
| 17 to 45 people | Bus | 45 | 40 to 50 |
Bag numbers are suitcases. Cabin bags, pushchairs and Zamzam cartons take space too, so include them when you tell us your luggage.
Not sure which one you need? Send us your number of passengers and bags on WhatsApp and we will tell you which car fits.
Every vehicle in our fleet, with seats and bags
All the cars below are 2026 models. The passenger and bag numbers come from our own fleet list.
Toyota Camry: couples and small families with light luggage

The Camry takes up to 4 passengers and 3 bags. It suits a couple, or a small family travelling light, on airport transfers, the drive between Makkah and Madinah, and Ziyarat. It is the lowest-priced car on every route in our list. If four adults each bring a large suitcase, choose the Staria instead.
Hyundai Staria: six passengers and the most luggage space of the six-seaters
The Staria takes up to 6 passengers and 8 to 10 bags. That is the most luggage room of our six-seat vehicles, which helps at the airport, where everyone arrives with suitcases. It is also a good choice for a smaller group with a lot of luggage, for example 4 people with 6 or 7 suitcases.

GMC Yukon XL: six passengers, 6 to 8 bags

The GMC Yukon XL also seats 6 passengers and takes 6 to 8 bags. It runs on the same routes as our other cars: airport transfers, Makkah to Madinah and Ziyarat. If you have more than 8 bags, the Staria or the HiAce is the better fit.
Toyota HiAce: large families up to 11

The HiAce takes up to 11 passengers and 14 to 16 bags. It keeps a large family, or two families travelling together, in one vehicle, so nobody waits for a second car at the hotel or the airport.
Toyota Coaster: groups up to 16

The Coaster takes up to 16 passengers and 20 to 25 bags. It suits a mosque group, an extended family or a small travel-agent group. Coaster prices are not on our public price list, so ask us for a price for your route and date.
45-seat bus: full groups travelling together
For groups of 17 to 45 people, a bus takes up to 45 passengers and 40 to 50 bags. Ask us about availability and price for your dates before you plan around it.
Staria or GMC Yukon XL? Both seat six
This is the question families ask most. Both take 6 passengers, so the difference is luggage and price:
- Luggage: the Staria takes 8 to 10 bags, the GMC Yukon XL 6 to 8.
- Price: the Staria costs less than the GMC Yukon XL on every route in our price list.
- Preference: some families simply prefer a GMC. If that is you, book the GMC and keep your luggage to 8 bags or fewer.
If you are booking a family taxi from Makkah to Madinah, the route page shows the price of each vehicle side by side.
Counting your bags, including Zamzam
What to count
Before you book, count everything that goes in the back of the car:
- Large suitcases
- Cabin bags and backpacks
- Zamzam cartons
- Folding pushchairs
Tell us the number of each, and roughly how big the suitcases are, when you book. This matters most for pickup at Jeddah Airport, where the whole family arrives with all its luggage at once.
The trip home has more bags
At the end of an Umrah trip, most families have more bags than when they arrived: shopping, gifts and Zamzam cartons. A car that was big enough on arrival can be too small on the way back. When you book the ride back to the airport, give us your new bag count and the number of Zamzam cartons, so we send a vehicle with room for everything.
Travelling with children or elderly parents
A private car means you leave when your family is ready, not when a shared bus is full. On long drives such as Makkah to Madinah, the driver stops on request.
Please know two things before you book:
- We do not provide child seats.
- We have no wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
If you are travelling with babies, young children or a parent with limited mobility, tell us when you book so we can talk through the trip with you.
Groups and travel agents: HiAce, Coaster or bus
For groups, one vehicle keeps everyone together, arriving at the same time at the hotel, the Haram or the airport. A HiAce takes up to 11, a Coaster up to 16 and a bus up to 45. Send us the group size, the bag count and your route and dates, and we will confirm which vehicle is available. See our group transport options for more.
How vehicle choice affects the price
- Prices are per car, not per person.
- Each vehicle has its own price on each route. The Camry is the lowest, and the Staria costs less than the GMC Yukon XL everywhere in our list.
- Coaster and bus prices are on request.
- Tolls, parking and airport fees are not included, and prices change in Ramadan and Hajj season.
- You pay in cash after your ride, in SAR or USD. No deposit.
See the prices for every vehicle and route.
What to send us so we pick the right car
Send these four things on WhatsApp and we can confirm the right vehicle in one reply:
- Number of passengers, and how many are children
- Number of suitcases, cabin bags and Zamzam cartons
- Your route and date (for example, Jeddah Airport to your Makkah hotel on a given day)
- Your flight number, for airport pickups
For airport pickups we track your flight and include 2 hours of free waiting. Before pickup we send you the driver's name and the car number.
Questions pilgrims ask
How many people fit in a GMC Yukon XL?
Six passengers, with room for 6 to 8 bags. If your six people carry more luggage than that, the Hyundai Staria takes 8 to 10 bags and costs less on every route in our price list.
We are 7 people. Do we need two cars?
No. A Toyota HiAce takes up to 11 passengers and 14 to 16 bags, so a group of 7 travels together in one vehicle.
Do you provide child seats?
No, we do not provide child seats, and we have no wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Please tell us about young children or anyone with limited mobility when you book, so we can talk through the trip with you before you travel.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car. You pay one price for the vehicle, whether two people or the full number of seats travel in it. Tolls, parking and airport fees are not included, and prices change in Ramadan and Hajj season.
Can we carry Zamzam cartons?
Yes. Tell us how many Zamzam cartons you have along with your suitcases when you book, so we send a car with room for everything.
